KiwiCo vs Lovevery
KiwiCo vs Lovevery for a 10-Month-Old
Are you a parent on the hunt for which subscription toy box is worth paying for? In this article, you will read a summary of KiwiCo vs Lovevery from the perspective of a first-time mom who has tried both.
What are subscription toy boxes?
These two brands, Lovevery and KiwiCo, are subscription boxes that ship toys to your home every other month. They are convenient in that once you subscribe, they are tailored to your child’s age as she or he grows. The toys are therefore age-appropriate for each month, slowly increasing in challenge, skill, and complexity. They are Montessori-inspired toys and many are often wooden Montessori toys.
Comparing the Two Montessori-Inspired Toy Subscriptions
Since months 5-6, we have been Lovevery subscribers and every single box has been a hit for my son! I aged him a month older, so his boxes ship a little earlier than his age range but he loves almost all of the toys. Each one is an inviting challenge that he willingly engages in.
We tried KiwiCo for the first time this month at 10 months. My only complaint is that they do not tell you what to expect in a KiwiCo subscription. However, they do have two options for subscriptions. One that is cheaper per month and one that is about the same price as Lovevery’s.
Both toy subscription lines are premium in quality. If you have the budget for it, I believe both to be worth it. However, if I would only choose one – I would choose Lovevery because you know exactly what is included in each box. I appreciate that kind of transparency as a paying customer.
